Young Carers Respite Program – specific funding to provide respite for carers up to the age of 25 years who are at risk of leaving school or study prematurely due to their caring role and responsibility.
Also CCRC offer information and respite for other young carers who are not currently studying.

Headspace offer young people aged 12 - 24 years a flexible and confidential service including information, education, support, referral, and counselling on issues such as:
- Drugs and alcohol (including needle availability program)
- Sexual health
- Emergency health care
- Specialist counselling
- Mental Health
- Pregnancy testing
- Referral services
- Anything that affects the health and well being of young people
Options are available for working one to one or in groups depending on the young person's personal choice.
Consultation by appointment, drop in consultation depending on availability. Referrals are not necessary. Services provided by the Youth Health Team are free. There is a $3.00 fee for pregnancy testing.

The DEN has a wide range of resources on alcohol and other drugs for anyone who needs information. We can provide fact sheets, pamphlets, journals and brochures. We also lend education resources including books and videos.
The DEN consults with young people to identify their needs, provide ongoing support for young people in developing their own harm reduction initiatives, and we conduct peer leadership programs.
The DEN offers a range of education programs, sporting programs & community programs, events and public information sessions and one on one information sessions.

FBC (North) provides services to young people with disability and to young people who help care for a person with a disability e.g. sibling or parent.
FBC run a number of programs:
- school holiday programs including camps, which can be attended by both the person with the disability and the rest of the family,
- special support for young people with a disability e.g. outings to pictures, football etc,
- host family respite services allowing young person with a disability to stay over weekend with another family on a regular basis,
- regular in-home respite and personal care services to young people with a disability

Family Planning Tasmania promotes and enhances sexual wellbeing for all Tasmanians.
Free, confidential and inclusive clinic services provided by doctors, nurses and counsellors with special training in sexual health for:
- Contraception
- Sexual health checks eg pap smears and breast examinations
- Sexual relationship counselling
- Safer sex information
- Sexually transmitted infections
- HIV testing
- Pregnancy testing and counselling
- Emergency contraception
- Period problems
- Difficulty becoming pregnant
FPT also offers community education, human relations support programs, professional training, advocacy and research and project work.
The Launceston Family Planning clinic is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 5pm.

Oakrise offer individual and family assessments and education, counseling and group work for a range of issues: Severe anxiety/stress, phobias, compulsive behaviours, obsessional thoughts, eating disorders, depression, suicidal thoughts and behaviours, assessments, skills – building and coping skills, and consultation, support and education for other professionals.

Sexual Health North of clinical services, counseling and health promotion in relation to sexual health checks, STI’s diagnosis and treatment, HIV care, viral hepatitis care, management of vulval discomfort and pain, genital dermatology, sexual response and desire, sexual practices and safety, sex worker issues, sexual orientation and gender identity. Low cost vaccinations for Hepatitis A and B are available. Safer sex supplies can be purchased.
Sexual Health Service Tasmania works with individuals, couples, families and communities where appropriate.

Sexual Health North is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm.

Financial counselling offers one-on-one confidential counselling to assist with debt crisis situations, negotiating with creditors, advocating on behalf of clients, referral to other suitable programs offering relevant support or assistance. We can also offer community education sessions to cover, for example, budgeting, financial literacy, money management etc.

Mummies and Munchkins is a playgroup/support group for young parents under the age of 25. Get to know other parents of a similar age. Free tea, coffee and lunch are supplied along with craft activities. Previous activities include candle making, jewellery making, chocolate making, reflexology, baby massage and card reading.

Linkzone is a youth web portal where young people can go and easily access a range of information through other, already established, advisory and information web sites. It concentrates on Tasmanian sites and services for young people but also includes other Australian and International sites. Where possible, Linkzone aims to provide young people with links to services in their local area. The site covers topics such as health and wellbeing, legal information, money, relationships, entertainment, sport and recreation, accommodation, education, employment and transport.
